London Life: Day 34

Today was the first day this week that wasn't sunny, but that was okay! It allowed me to actually stay in doors and do my homework. When it is beautiful outside, I just cannot stand to stay in doors. On this cloudy Sunday morning, we slept in and did a whole lot of nothing till it was time for church. We got ready and headed to church. When we got home from church, we had a nice lazy Sunday till we realized we should probably go and do laundry and work on homework, so we got our lazy booties up and walked over to the main building to do laundry. While we were walking to the main building, we decided to turn down a little road that is two doors down from our flat. We walked down this road and saw so many blue circles saying the names of famous people that had lived there. I would have to say my favorite one that we found was Winston Churchill's house that he lived and died in! I could not believe that we are living in Winston's neighborhood. Say what?! I love me some Winston Churchill. The man is brilliant. We also found the house that Virginia Wolf lived in. It was an exciting little road we found that is literally two seconds away from our flat. I can see this road from our stoop. After our exciting discovery, we headed to the main building to do our laundry. Tessa and I did a load together, so we started it up and waited the forty minutes for it to finish and when we looked at it when it was done, the flippin thing hadn't even ran! It let water out but didn't spin it, so we put it in a different washer and waited another 40 minutes. Then put them in the dryer for an hour. It was probably good that we had to sit the extra time because I actually got some homework done.

^^Only true friends get bugs out of your hair for you :)

When we finished up our laundry, we headed back to the flat and I made myself a quick dinner. I then watched the season finale of Nashville! This show is like my secret addiction. I love country music and it is all about country music. The finale blew my socks off. Two of the leads got in a car accident and another lead proposed to his girlfriend. I don't know if I will make it to August. In other sad news, the Tony's are tonight and I don't get to watch them because I am in another country. I love the Tony's! They are like one of the highlights of my year, but I have no room to complain. I am in London for goodness sakes. I will move on quickly, I'm sure. I'm excited to see what tomorrow holds!
