We had another amazing adventure today at Stonehenge and Bath! I am loving these day trips to other beautiful spots in the UK. So this day trip we decided to do a tour. Tessa was nervous, but I was so excited. I love tour groups! It makes it so much easier. You get to go along for the ride while someone else deals with the travel and tickets into places. We got to the Victoria Coach Station at 7:30am and waited around till our bus left. We got a little confused with where to get on the bus, but thankfully we figured it out. We got on our double decker tour bus and headed to Stonehenge. Our tour guide was hilarious and so knowledgeable which made the trip so enjoyable. After about an hour and a half drive, we arrived at Stonehenge. It was so cool! I cannot believe how long these rocks have been here: 5,000 years! Say what?! That is before Jesus was born! So amazing! Also, the area around Stonehenge was gorgeous. I have always thought Stonehenge was so great and beautiful, so I am so happy I finally got to visit it. We got free audio tour guides which is always exciting. It was so informative! I had no idea how much there was to learn about a bunch of rocks and I'm so happy I did.
^^^I'm in overwhelming bliss with this audio tour guide!
After Stonehenge, we got back on the bus and headed to Bath. The drive to Bath was gorgeous! So many rolling hills and fields of green. There were also these fields of yellow where they grow the plant that makes canola oil. They were so cute and yellow. We arrived at Bath and had 3 hours there. We had quite a few things we wanted to do so we had to hustle. We first went to the Roman Baths which was so awesome! Reminded me of Israel a bit. The pool is still heated by hot springs, but no one is allowed in them because the water is gross, but it was cool none the less. We saw ruins of the temple and other buildings that were by the bath house. I cannot believe how long the Roman Baths and such have been there. Seriously, amazing. We also got to drink some of the water from the spring. It was disgusting, but I feel cool for having gotten to drink it! But seriously I wanted to throw up. It was hot and tasted like dirt. We left the roman Baths and headed for some other spots in Bath!

^^^Nastiest thing ever...
After the Roman Bath, we walked up to the Jane Austen Center on Gay Street! This is the street that Jane Austen lived on when she lived in Bath. We only went into the gift shop, though, because we were short on time. I wanted to buy so much! I contained myself and only got a sweet tea clothe that says "Keep Calm and Read Jane Austen" for my wall in my Loft. I also got an I love Mr. Darcy pin and a Pride and Prejudice post card. All these things were only 6 pounds! I loved that adorable little shop. After The JAne Austen Center, we walked up to the Circus where they filmed Persuasion and Northanger Abbey. I loved the limestone circle. It was so pretty. Next, we walked up to the Royal Crescent which was similar to the Circus. I loved the historic architecture of them both. There was also a gorgeous view at the Royal Crescent. When we finished up, we found this adorable path back to the town center. We also found these Georgiana Gardens and stopped in there real fast. To finish our short visit in Bath, we went to Sally Lund's to get a delicious bun. I got mine with lemon curd. So much deliciousness! Once we finished our snack, we headed back to the bus for our 2 and a half hour drive back to London. We had such an amazing trip today!
^^^Ghetto trail mix!
We got back to Gloucester and headed to the grocery store. We got back to the flat and hung out. We are so exhausted from our travels! Today was so perfect and I am so excited for tomorrow's adventures! Dover tomorrow :)
