I live in London!!!! Sorry. Sometimes it hits me and I seriously cannot believe it. I just had one of those moments. Today was another one of those low-key days. We woke up and went to class. Class is getting harder and harder to sit through as I fall more and more in love with this city because I just want to be out there doing things, not sitting class. One plus side of class today was that we got 60 pounds back! Never thought I would be so excited about gaining pounds (haha funny joke). But really, I was so excited about getting some extra cash. When we got out of class, we went back to the flat and made lunch. We then attempted to plan this week because it is travel week and we wanted to do some day trips. We all got really restless with seeing the how beautiful it was outside, so we decided to visit the park, Hampstead Heath, and then plan when we got home.
On the way to the Tube station McKenzie and I, the Georgia girls, finally took a picture with the Georgia Restaurant. It's probably food from the Country, but we wanted a picture none-the-less. We took a long tube ride to Hampstead and had such a great time there. It is so beautiful! On our walk to the park, we stopped at a bakery and got a treat then went to the park to eat them. The park is more like a forest. There are trails through the trees and we even came upon a gorgeous garden and house thing. We couldn't figure out exactly what it was. We took some pictures there and then walked the trail back. We didn't get to stay at Hampstead very long so we decided we would definitely be back.
^^^Cream on the nose...
^^^ So many yummy treats!
^^^My legs look creepily short!
^^^Only true friends push your butt up a tree!
^^^She made it up!
After Hampstead Heath, we headed back to the flat and made dinner. We then cracked done on planning and got things done. We planned our Bath and Stonehenge trip for tomorrow and I planned my Dover trip. I am so excited for these day trips we are taking! This travel week is going to be so exciting. I can't wait to see what adventures I go on! After planning, McKenzie, Ali, and I headed to Metrogate to do some laundry then headed home to get to bed. I have to be up nice and early for my Bath and Stonehenge trip!
