On this very rainy Friday, we woke up and headed over to the St. Paul Cathedral. It was quite the experience! You see, I am claustrophobic and scared of heights and I had to face both those fears at this Cathedral. We walked in the doors and it was absolutely gorgeous. I'm sad I wasn't allowed to take any pictures to show you. There was a beautiful mosaic(learned what that word meant today. Thanks Tessa!)! Then we found out that we would be going to the top of the dome....I had a little freak out, but I was not going to miss out on this experience. We went up the first staircase and it was not too bad. Plenty of space and we got to the indoor dome area that looked down on the Cathedral and it was really cool. As long as I held onto the bar, I was fine. It was a pretty wide dome, but there was this cool thing where two people could sit on each side of the dome and whisper to each other and you could totally hear them! It was crazy. Janell, McKenzie, Carson, and I played with that for a while and then we headed up some more. This is where the claustrophobia kicked in a bit. I swear the further we got up, the smaller the staircases got. We went up to two separate levels that were on the outside of the dome. It was so freaky, but I did it anyway! I would hurry to the side, take a picture then run back against the wall. It was a such a pretty view of the city, though. I am really happy I did it. After the dome adventures, we headed back down and walked around the Cathedral some more and even went down to the crypt. It had this beautiful altar dedicated to the Americans that died in WWII. I loved that and made me love England even more. I really loved this Cathedral and all its gorgeousness.

After the Cathedral, McKenzie, Tessa, and I headed over to "The Hot House" theater to see if they had any day tickets left. They did not, so we headed back to the flat for lunch. McKenzie and I had a quick lunch because we had to be at the National Gallery by 2:00 to meet up with a friend of mine that I met in NYC at a show. He now lives in London. We got to the National Gallery and met up with Stephen. Since McKenzie and I had not been to the National Gallery before, we decided we would walk around it and catch up. I only got 30 minutes with him because he had to head to a rehearsal but it was great to see him, none the less. It was so great to see him, especially since I had not seen him for a year and a half. He is such a great guy! We said our goodbyes and then Mckenzie and I headed to the theater to try and get tickets to "The Winslow Boy." We had quite the adventure finding the theater after getting off the tube but after asking a door man at a hotel, we finally found it. We got front row seats on the first balcony for only 26 pounds. We were very excited about those tickets! Then we decided to head back to the flat because our legs were killin' from walking up and down all those steps at St. Paul and walking all over town.
We got back to the flat and hung out and relaxed. We all ate dinner as well and then headed to the theater for "The Winslow Boy." It was such a great performance. I am not always crazy about realism, but I really liked this performance. They did such a beautiful job with acting, lighting, set, and the story was so interesting. I really enjoyed it.
After the show, we headed back to the flat as usual. It was a very rainy and gloomy day, but it was an amazing day anyway. Not going to let rain ruin my day. London life is perfection and I am loving every second of it!

So lovely! x
